At Michigan, I have engaged in academic writing in a range of disciplines and my E-Portfolio is a great place to showcase my diverse work. I wrote this research paper about customer perception of companies based on their corporate social responsibility initiatives. This was my first experience with extensive primary research.

This rhetorical analysis compares two graphic novels, Persepolis and Fun Home and the strategies used to convey human trauma. This class, Narratives of Girlhood, exposed me to a different form of literary analysis.

Critical Juxtaposition
In this paper, I apply Betty Friedan's critical feminist theory and her criticism of Freud to the Dove Real Beauty campaign. This paper was very difficult and unnatural for me to write, but strategies I learned through the Minor helped me succeed.
